Animal Information Report Writing

Here are our information reports about Polar Bears, Killer Whales and Piranhas.

We have been learning to write our facts in a report structure and in paragraphs. First we must write the classification (what it is), secondly the description (what it has/looks like), thirdly the location (where it is found) and lastly we write about what the animal can do.

We hope you learn something new while reading our animal information reports!

Room 3, I have just read your animal reports and I learnt a lot of new facts. I did not know that a polar bear weighs as much as 129 cats, or piranhas have golden shimmering scales, or that there are 25 killer whales in a pod! It is great to see that you are all using the correct report structure including paragraphs. You are amazing writers. Keep up the great work - Mrs Russell
